- Peel the bananas and slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
- If desired, toss the banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Arrange the banana slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 2-3 hours, flipping halfway through, until the chips are crisp.
- Let them cool completely before serving.
Notes
To keep banana chips fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. For longer storage, freeze them in a zip-top bag for 2-3 months. Sprinkle cinnamon or sea salt before baking for added flavor.
