Ingredients
  

For the Beef and Sauce
  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly) Slice against the grain for tenderness.
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Can substitute with tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Add in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • Rice For serving.

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine beef broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a flavorful sauce.
  2. Place the sliced beef in the crock pot, then pour the sauce over the beef.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  2. In the final 30 minutes, stir in the broccoli florets to keep them fresh and slightly crunchy.
Serving
  1. Serve over cooked rice and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the beef in the soy sauce and ginger for a couple of hours before cooking. You can also add sesame oil before serving for an aromatic touch. Feel free to swap beef for chicken or tofu, or add a splash of Sriracha for heat.
