Ingredients
  

For the Stir Fry
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas) Feel free to experiment with different vegetables!
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For cooking
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the mixed vegetables while the beef is marinating.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil, stirring for about one minute until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For serving, consider adding sesame seeds or finely chopped green onions. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for up to two months.
