Preparation
- Leave the cream cheese on the counter for 30–60 minutes so it softens.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the diced apples gently.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce into the mixture and stir just until swirled.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and smooth the top. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top.
Serving
- Serve immediately with graham crackers, apple slices, and pretzels for dipping.
Notes
Store leftover dip in an airtight container for up to 3 days. The apples may soften over time. For a lighter version, consider using reduced-fat cream cheese. Warm caramel briefly in the microwave for easier swirling.
