  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 piece carrot, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
For serving
  • Cooked rice for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients and have them ready to go.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken breasts, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Incorporate the bell peppers, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, ensuring to coat everything evenly.
  6. Serve the stir-fry over a bed of cooked rice.

Notes

For an even better stir-fry experience, chop ingredients uniformly to ensure even cooking; high heat is key—use a wok if possible. Marinating the chicken can enhance its flavor and tenderness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
