  • 1 cups 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the topping
  • 1 cups 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cups 1/2 cup whipped cream (for topping) Optional topping

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
Filling
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the peanut butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until well combined.
  3. Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
Topping and Chilling
  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth. Drizzle or spread the melted chocolate over the peanut butter filling.
  2. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Serving
  1. Before serving, top with whipped cream if desired.
  2. Enjoy your delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie!

Notes

For a smoother chocolate topping, melt the chocolate chips slowly in the microwave. You can also experiment with the crust; a graham cracker crust could offer a delightful twist.
