- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and well blended.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Using a tablespoon, drop rounded portions of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookie edges are set and slightly firm.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
