  • 1 cup pure pumpkin puree Make sure it's pure and free from additives.
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter Ensure it's dog-safe without sugar or xylitol.
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup oats Optional, for added texture.
  • 1/2 cup pretzels Crushed, for added crunch.
  • 1 unit egg Optional, for better binding.
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon Optional, adds flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Add the coconut flour, crushed pretzels, oats, and egg (if using). Mix until well combined.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Cut into shapes using cookie cutters or a knife.
  6. Place the cut shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow the treats to cool completely before serving to your dog.

Notes

Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for longer storage. For picky eaters, try adding chicken broth for extra flavor.
