Ingredients
  

Pizza Base
  • 1 piece Pizza dough Homemade or store-bought
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Tomato sauce Spread evenly on the dough
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup Fresh pineapple, caramelized Enhances sweetness
  • 4 slices Prosciutto Can substitute with Canadian bacon
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For drizzling
  • 1 pinch Salt To taste
  • 1 pinch Pepper To taste
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until you reach your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet.
Topping and Baking
  1. Spread a layer of tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously on top of the sauce.
  3. Add the caramelized pineapple and prosciutto over the cheese.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese melts.
  6. Once out of the oven, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve.

Notes

Store any leftovers by cooling the pizza completely, then wrapping it tightly in plastic wrap or foil. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat pizza until heated through for best results.
