Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs Use any chocolate cookies to make the crust.
  • 0.5 cups 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Make sure to melt the butter before mixing.
For the filling
  • 2 cups 2 cups chocolate pudding mix Use instant chocolate pudding mix for easier preparation.
  • 4 cups 4 cups milk Whole milk will give a creamier texture.
For the topping
  • 2 cups 2 cups whipped cream Homemade whipped cream is preferred.
  • 0.25 cups 1/4 cup powdered sugar For sweetening the whipped cream.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Add vanilla for flavor.
  • 1 cup 1 cup chocolate chips Sprinkle on top for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  2. Bake for about 10 minutes, then allow it to cool completely.
Filling
  1. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until it thickens.
  2. Pour this mixture over the cooled crust.
Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the pudding layer. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate the pie for a minimum of four hours to allow it to fully set before serving.

Notes

Garnish with extra whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving. For a luxurious touch, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
