Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree Ensure it's pure pumpkin, not pie filling.
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce Use plain, unsweetened applesauce.
  • 2.5 cups whole wheat flour Can substitute with oat flour or almond flour.
  • 1 large egg At room temperature.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For flavor enhancement.
  • 1/4 cup water Add as needed to adjust dough consistency.

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, applesauce, and egg until well combined.

  5. Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
  6. Place treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until firm.
  8. Allow to cool completely before serving to your dog.
