  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2.5 cups whole wheat flour Can substitute with oat flour for a different texture.
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 0.25 cup peanut butter (unsweetened) Choose high-quality, unsweetened peanut butter.
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, egg, and water until well combined.
  3. Gradually incorporate the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and cinnamon, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the treats are firm and golden.
  7. Allow them to cool completely before serving them to your pup.

Notes

Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze them in a freezer-safe bag. Use different cookie cutter shapes for variety.
