  • 1 cup canned pumpkin Make sure it's plain without additives
  • 2 cups oats Rolled oats are recommended for a softer texture
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil Melted for easier mixing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the canned pumpkin with the coconut oil until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the oats, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough out on a floured surface and cut it into shapes using cookie cutters.
  5. Place the cutouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until firm.
  7. Let them cool completely before serving to your dog.

Notes

Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze unused portions to enjoy later, thawing them at room temperature before serving. Consider mixing in peanut butter or using mashed bananas/sweet potatoes for flavor variations. Supervise your dog when introducing new treats.
