Ingredients

For the Dip
  • 1 cup whole-milk ricotta cheese For a creamier texture
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey Adjust to heat preference
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs, finely chopped Basil, parsley, or thyme work well
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper To taste
For Serving
  • Crusty bread or crostini For dipping
  • Crisp vegetables (carrot sticks, cucumber, radish) For dipping

Method

Preparation
  1. Spoon the ricotta into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of hot honey, starting with 1 tablespoon if you prefer less heat and sweetness.
  3. Stir vigorously until the ricotta and honey form a smooth, creamy mixture. For an extra-smooth texture, beat with a fork or small whisk for 30–45 seconds.
  4. Fold in the finely chopped herbs, then taste and season with salt and pepper. Adjust with more honey or a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle extra hot honey on top, and scatter a few herb leaves for garnish. Serve with crusty bread and crisp vegetables.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best served fresh, but can be made ahead of time and brought to room temperature before serving.
